Our Story


Our journey as friends started two decades ago at Seneca College while we were both studying Event Design & Management. Both with backgrounds in fashion & merchandising, the connection between us was instant.

From roommates to now lifelong friends, we've been there for each other through many chapters of our lives, coming together to celebrate every moment. It’s been a true privilege to watch each others families grow, and this shared journey continues to inspire everything we do.

We knew it was time to turn our friendship into a partnership when we could no longer deny our creative likeness, drive, and love for events. By merging our unique strengths, we’re empowered by the opportunity to build something truly magical – and with that Marigold Party Co. was born.

Marigolds have always held a special place in our hearts, being the birth flower of the first member of our crew of kiddos. With their vibrant yellow petals, marigolds naturally bring to mind feelings of joy, warmth, and positivity – qualities that we strive to infuse into every event we create and every interaction we have with our clients. They represent creativity, celebration, energy, and good fortune – all the things we aim to deliver in our work.

This naming was only solidified further when we learned of the “Marigold Effect” – which refers to a concept in which small, simple acts of kindness and positivity create a ripple effect, spreading warmth and uplifting those around you, much like the vibrant marigold flower. The term often symbolizes how positive actions can influence a larger community, creating an environment where good things grow.
